Farah Pahlavi and Mohammad Reza Pahlavi of the Iranian Monarchy, installed as Shah and added the title King of Kings and Light of the Aryans, overthrown in the 1979 Iranian revolution.

Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, Shah of Iran ( Persian: محمد رضا پهلوی‎ Mohammad Rezā Pahlavī ) ( October 16, 1919, Tehran – July 27, 1980, Cairo ) , styled His Imperial Majesty, and holding the imperial titles of Shāhanshāh (King of Kings), and Aryamehr (Light of the Aryans), was the monarchial ruler of Iran from September 16, 1941 until the Iranian Revolution on February 11, 1979. He was the second monarch of the Pahlavi dynasty and the last Shah of the Iranian monarchy.

Farah Diba is known for being one of the best dressed, best looking of royalties back then. There's even an interesting story that she got a sore mark on her head because her diamond encrusted tierra (crown) was too heavy!

You kinda feel sorry that Iran has changed drastically now.

beautiful...my parents ( Christian Armenians) used to live in Tehran along with all my family...they had such a nice time under the rule of the shah...but then war started and also khomeini came and they fled because khomeini erased and shamed Iran

ya...we had a nice life their...we just moved because you know that whole thing about boys going to war at age 18...my mom didn twant me to go so we moved.

Once upon time in IRAN
i wish he were still the shah, because before 1979 iran was in great relationship with other countries (including Israel for example) and wasnt so conservative, i think he's one of the best things that ever happened in the middle east...
